Feature And Benefits
DRILLTEX™ stabilizes shales by chemically and physically sealing off micro fractures. DRILLTEX™ prevents the dispersion of drilled cuttings by preventing their interaction with water. DRILLTEX™ controls high temperature fluid loss and results in a tough thin filter cake.
Product Function
DRILLTEX™ is utilized to provide bore hole and drilling fluid stability.
Recommended treatment
Additions of 2.0–6.0 lb/bbl (5.7–17.1 kg/m³) of DRILLTEX™ is the normal range of treatment depending upon the severity of the hole problems encountered. If problems are anticipated pre–treatment with DRILLTEX™ is recommended. DRILLTEX™ is an effective lubricant and helps to emulsify oil in water base muds.

Handling Recommendations
Use normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for this product prior to use.

DRILLTEX™ is packaged in 25 kgs and 50 lbs polyethylene lined multiwall paper sack.
